Md Anwar Hossen is the current deputy director of the Research and Development Unit (Social Science School) (Session: 2024-2025) and ex-assistant director of the Research Development Unit (Session: 2023-2024) at Univ.

He is an independent researcher. He accomplished his graduation from Government and Politics at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2019, he served as a Young Research Fellow of the Efficient and Accountable Local Governance project with UNDP Bangladesh.

Besides being a member of the IACA (International Anti-Corruption Academy) alumni, he attended several seminars and workshops offered by the IACA, most importantly in Austria, Bangladesh, and Malaysia. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University, Turkiye, under the ‘Turkish Government Scholarship’.
