Jannatul Ferdos is a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geography and Environmental Studies and a Master's researcher from the University of Chittagong, Chattogram-4331, Bangladesh. He graduated (B.Sc) from the same Department. His research mainly focuses on Hydrology, Floods, Agriculture, Public Health, and Climate Change.

Besides his study and research activities, Ferdos works at UniV as the Assistant Director of the Research and Development Unit (Science School), UniV. The event facilitator is a holistic educational platform with the tagline ‘competence beyond the box.’ He previously worked as the Assistant Director of the Career Development Unit at UniV.

He has been involved with the Meherpur Student Development Association (MESDA) for one year as President of the University of Chittagong (CU) branch. Working with social and humanitarian causes was a significant opportunity. He is a former Assistant Education Secretary at the Chittagong University Students Research Council (CUSRC). He is also a Co-ordinator at the Northeastern and Southeastern zones in Bangladesh of the Center for Integrative Research and Policy Studies (CIRPS), Malaysia.

In addition, having more than five years of experience with several national and international organizations like Students for Liberty of South Asia, Chittagong University History Club (CUHC), Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC) CU, Pother Pachali, Biological Faculty Co-Curricular Society -BFCS, CU, Chittagong University Debating Society (CUDS), BONDHON, National Environment Awareness and Restoration (NEAR), Darun Foundation. and Center for Integrative Research and Policy Studies (CIRPS), his expertise has grown in the non-profit program and project management, social business research, content development, and entrepreneurship development. As for attending several international conferences and seminars, he traveled to India.

As part of his hobby, he enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures, working in different countries, keeping close contact with the locals, exchanging views for a better world for all, exploring new ideas to solve socio-global problems, and participating in social activities that benefit humanity the most.
