Mr. Ibrahim Hossain is an Associate professor of English and the director of the Institute of Modern Languages, University of Chittagong. He completed his B.A Hons & M.A in English from University of Dhaka.

He achieved his second M.A in International English Language Teaching & Applied Language Studies from London Metropolitan University,UK. He attained the Cambridge CELTA course from Oxford House London. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Applied Linguistics. He is interested in Language Testing and assessment, Technology in Language Teaching, Second Language Acquisition.
